Dr. Schwartz is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, as well as an adjunct faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. She is the former Director of Neuropsychology Training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. She continues to maintain a supervisory role for psychology interns and psychiatric residents at local hospitals, clinics, and schools.

In addition to private practice work, Dr. Schwartz worked for seven years as a consulting neuropsychologist at Eagle Hill School, a nationally known school for children with language-based learning disabilities based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Dr. Schwartz has also consulted with various preschools and supervised school psychologists, learning specialists, speech/language pathologists, and school directors in demystifying and interpreting neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Schwartz has presented on a wide range of topics related to childhood and adolescent learning and emotional difficulties.

Dr. Schwartz received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, from The University of Michigan and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, where she specialized in Child Clinical Psychology. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Columbia University.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society, National Academy of Neuropsychology, Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder, National Alliance of Professional Psychology Providers, International Dyslexia Association, Connecticut Association of Learning Disabilities, and New York Neuropsychology Group.

When not in the office, Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
